How it started
My journey in design started with my passion for architecture and the way spaces influence how we live. Originally from Colombia, and raised in Venezuela, I built a strong foundation in architecture before expanding my expertise into interior design and custom millwork.
For over 12 years in Miami, I have collaborated with luxury Italian cabinetry brands on high-end projects for exclusive clients. This experience gave me invaluable knowledge of high-end materials, craftsmanship, and the ability to interact seamlessly with interior designers, architects, developers, and vendors in the industry. It also strengthened my expertise in delivering bespoke solutions that merge aesthetics with functionality.
Having worked in dynamic markets like Miami, New York, and Chicago, I refined my approach to design, always ensuring that each project reflects my client’s vision and enhances their everyday living experience.
Driven by the belief that a well-designed home should reflect the soul of its inhabitants, I founded Dalop Design. Today, through virtual consultations and tailored design solutions, I help clients bring their visions to life, whether it’s a kitchen remodel, a custom closet, or a full-scale interior transformation.

The road here
It wasn’t always a smooth road. In the beginning, adapting to a new country while building my career came with challenge, especially feeling confident with English, mastering technical terminology, and fully embracing my expertise in a highly competitive industry. The transition required persistence, patience, and a willingness to learn from every experience.
While my background in architecture gave me a strong foundation, my true passion was always interior design. Specializing in cabinetry and millwork became my superpower, allowing me to bring together the best of both worlds, architectural precision with the creativity and functionality of interior design.
